| 這次是中國農曆年間全家出國自助旅行.Aochalong 是間有特色的resort,老闆是華裔潮州的泰國人,待人很親切.家人因溫度較熱得了過敏性皮膚炎,老闆很快就安排免費來回接送至普吉鎮的大醫院就診,在人生地不熟的外國那是非常的體貼的服務.resort也有免費的gold cart 可以接送到大馬路很方便.退潮時走路到chalong pier不到500公尺,幾分鐘就到了.如果各位有機會,可以選擇此家.不錯.價位也算公道. |

| We have a nice stay i Aochalong Villa resort. Very queth place, but you can walk to the mainroad there are more restaurants, we find the Wine compani restaurant. there you can buy and also eat good food and drink good wine. |

| The good: nice swimming pools, pleasant room design, helpful staff, peaceful location. Not a bad choice for those who want to spend most time hanging around the pool. Food is average.
The bad: no hot water in the sink (have to shave with cold water), A/C had a difficult time to cope with the heat, nothing around the hotel.
The ugly: this is marketed as a place for families, we came with a 1 year old and in the room next to us a full volume party was going on all night (stopped with the loud music only when we complained), walls are thin so we heard what happened there too well. |

| the hotel has some good points and some bad.
pros: beuatifull pools, excellent customer service,quiet area of phuket, lovely gardens,fantastic restaurant with a great view of the pool,garden and bay(great for dining at night).
cons: smokers allowed to smoke everywhere(restaurant,pool,you name it) very annoying if you are a non smoker especially while eating brealkfast or trying to relax by the pool. very poor showers in rooms(only warm water,goes cold in under 1-2 minutes and very weak water pressure. standard garden view rooms have thin walls, you can here you neighbours (quite loud) opening closing cupboards doors etc all hours(not restfull) also the live music is clearly heard from your room untill late evenings every night which for some people may be annoying. also the suana steam facilities are charged at 150 baht per 30 minute use(just a rippoff). |

But you cannot swim at the beach (there are dirty water), far from main road as well as shops, restaurants etc. Wi-Fi is available. Breakfast is average. |

| We have booked Standard Room Pool View,
but reception told they do not have this kind of rooms at all.So we got a bungalo, which had a big patio and we were happy with this. Toilet did not functioned well.
Still recommend that nice and quiet resort. |

| Very nice hotel just at the beach. Nice room. Friendly staff at the reception. Both pool areas are very nice with many tropical plants and flowers. Good place to relax. The only negative point is the dirty and bad street from the main road to the hotel. |

| its quite hidden but for us it is ideal as we like it quiet.its cosy and well kept.its definitely value for money especially if you want to be close to chalong pier where most boats are. one can stay here and hit the islands easily.its a 15 min. walk to pier.in our case we arrived at night and took the speed boat to our final destination at the racha, which incidentally is heaven on earth.expensive but worth it. |

| I was from the 05th to the 19th of March 2009 in: Aochalong villa Resort and spa, T. Chalong, A. Muang, Phuket 83000.
The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden that is very much maintained. The rooms are in a very good condition and daily very much cleaned. The hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good and can be further-recommended in any case.
Only the breakfast is unfortunately somewhat simple. I think that I will again book this hotel. |

| At first the Aochalong Villa seems like a nice place to stay, only if you are diving, as it puts you 5 minutes away from Chalong pier. Then you start realising that it is not so convenient:
The hotel wants to charge you Baht 350.- per day for a motorbike, when the usual rate is Bath 200.-
The hotel has a car service (just a pick-up, no air conditioning) and charges you Bath 200.- just to get to the pier
The hotel charges Bath 800.- for an airport ride, when the average price is Bath 400.- to 500.-
There are no restaurants nearby and the only way to get away from the hotel is either rent an overpriced motorbike or get ripped off by the car service
Now lets talk about the hotel accommodation. Again, at first, it seems like a nice place, but soon you realise that you have to sleep on the floor, as the mattress is set directly on the floor, there is no bed frame. That makes you sleeping experience like in a cheep YMCA, while paying Bath 3.800.- per night
Finally, the hotel sits next to a small river that looks more like a sewage than anything else

| We stayed at the Aochalong Villa Resort and Spa from 03/01/09 and checked out on 07/01/09. We stayed in a Standard Pool View Room . These rooms have no balconies, but it didn t matter to us at all. There was a large terrace outside the front door that had a great view of the bay, but the sun was often too harsh to put it to good use apart from drying clothes on the clothes hanger. We had a good view of the main pool from our room, but couldn t see it all as it is extremely HUGE! The pool is massive and was very clean (nearly brand new I think). There are plenty of sun beds, change rooms, toilets & showers which is very handy. We found the pool very welcoming on a hot day as there are lots of shaded areas to swim in. There is another smaller pool overlooking the bay which is beautiful. The Europeans tend to hog the bay view pool as their rooms may be closer to it. They gave my wife and I bad looks as if we shouldnt be standing anywhere near them, so we only used the large pool which in all honnesty is soooo much better. There is a large spa pool also. The hotel is quite large (5 levels I think & many different wings) and has a very welcoming spacious, breezy lobby with places to sit & relax. The internet is 1bht for 1min, but you can only use 10bht coins for the coin machine attached to the computer. There is only 1 computer. Staff were always smiling & friendly, check in / check out was a breeze (we were welcomed with ice cold fruit drinks by the manager) & room servicing was good also. The shower was odd as there was no shower curtain or seperating glass / brick, so the toilet was sprayed with water when you showered. Our drain did not work properly for the first 2 nights so we had an inch of water around the toilet bowl at our feet. This was fixed in a few mins by removing the drain top courtesy of staff members. Breakfast was good also with plenty to chose from (bacon, eggs, toast, fruit thai food etc). There was plenty of seating inside & outside to eat breakfast. Food was great for lunch & dinner & very reasonable. Ask for the iced coffee - one of the male staff members makes it and it tastes GREAT! The hotel is located about a 15 min walk to the actual main road/s where you will find roadside food, 7/11, + other Thai stores. There are no foot paths and the road is very busy so beware! There isn t much to do at all apart from skuba diving etc, so we just relaxed every day apart from going to the Phuket Butterfly & Insect farm which was excellent! Taxi & tuk tuk drivers were not to be seen as the hotel is so far away from the main road. We would stay at this hotel again for a lazy few nights & days. For anyone else looking for night life - it just isn t there unless you want to walk 20mins from the hotel but even then it s pretty average on the streets. Good value for money & location is good if you are into diving / boating. We like Phuket, but it was a bit too remote for us. I would like to thank the staff for looking after my wife when she had a 24hr bug and collapsed in the garden. You are all very nice caring people & I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you :) |
