| Весьма уютный и достойный скандинавский (судя по составу гостей) отель для семейного отдыха. Достаточно просторные номера (family deluxe, во всяком случае), вкусный завтрак, дружелюбный персонал, недорогой качественный wi fi прямо в номере. Единственный минус - минут 10-15 пешком до моря, но 5 раз в день ходит шаттл бас на пляж от отеля, при этом, расположение выигрывает своей отдаленностью от шумных ночных баров и дискотек, находясь одновременно в центре Ката бич. В номере убирались каждый день со сменой белья и полотенец. Выбор по меню в ресторане (один раз обедали за 2 недели), на мой взгляд, немного скудноват, но готовят вкусно. в целом отель если и не твердая 4, то уж 3+ точно. Брали сначала неделю, бронировали через савади.ком из россии, в итоге решили остаться ещё на неделю. Я объездил почти всю юва и в тае 3-ий раз, поэтому есть с чем сравнивать, и могу смело рекомендовать этот отель семейным парам с детьми. |

| A nice child frendly hotel, where also adults without children can enjoy the stay. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms are nice, cleaned well. Location is not the best, wished it was closer to Kata beach, but not bad. I will stay again in this hotel and can recommend it. |

| I stayed in a deluxe room for 11 nights with my 2 sons aged 3 and 6. They loved the holiday, and spent huge amounts of time in the swimming pools. We also used the kids club most days for 1-2 hours (so I could go for a surf). The kids club was adequate for that period of time but its facilites and activites are limited. But it s a free service and given the discounted rate I paid for the room (averaged out at $70 AUS per night) it was great value. I also had one of the ladies from kids club babysit for me on 3 evenings. The kids were comfortable with her and I was confident in leaving them in her care. Breakfast buffet was included in my room rate and this was a good spread, with small daily changes, the kids really liked the buffet concept and ate well every day. They also had lunch most days from the kids menu which was good value at 120++ Baht (the ++ means plus tax and service charge so add 20% this kept catching me out!). The resort is a 10 min stroll from the beach (because of the ugly Club Med wall). The beach is all public access and a small walkway and road runs along the front but the Club Med location means you can only get to the beach at either end of the bay. But its only a 10 min stroll or 2 min - 100Baht tuk-tuk ride to the beach at the Kata Beach Resort. There is sunlounger and umbrella hire at the beach for 100Baht per lounger, and food and drinks stands which are well priced. Surfboard hire starts at 100Baht for 1 hour and cost reduces as hire time goes up. I hired from a few different places depending on where the most suitable breaks were. It s good for beginner/intermediate surfing and the guys hiring boards also offer lessons. We stayed around the resort and beach for the whole holiday and really enjoyed it. Kata beach is a great location for a family holiday and the Centara Kata was a good resort for our needs. |

| Very nice place, a lot of activites every day. Nice pool areas and big clean rooms. Staff is very service minded and helpfull. Spa was also nice. Walking to the beach is about 10 minutes but the beach is very nice. Small, clean and cheap food. Kata was a lot smaller than we thougt and not as nice as the beaches/locations out on the islands (Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Channg and others)No restaurants on the beach at night. Ska Bar was very good, in the end of the beach, best food we had and good prices. |

| This was our second time staying at this fantastic resort. The service, the food and amenities are just TOPS. This is a family resort and unfortunately our first room was very noisy!! The hotel was however very accommodating and understanding and moved us to a more secluded area of the resort. Absolutely loved our stay for the remainder of the period. Congratulations to the management of this hotel - I cannot fault this hotel on anything. Oh and you will struggle to find a better breakfast anywhere in Phuket. Will be going back!! |

| The hotel was great dissapointment for the price we paid. Centara should do some investment and refurbishing when they buy hotels from others, not only put the logo and sell it as a brand name.
We opted for it as it was advertized with kids club - it is one open space room that was all the time occpuied by private sessions by TUI and their customers who stay in this hotel. It was only open from 11am to 3pm - the hotest time in the day and when my kid was taking a rest in the room. There is one tiny airconditioned room with some toys that he could use and that s it. So kids club is a total scam.
Breakfast boring, every day same and not much of a choice.
Dinner at the restaurant was good, bit pricey but normal for Phuket prices.
Rooms - old and very modest. Bathroom also old. Room service and house keepers - great.
Location - not so great, there are hotels that are in this price range and closer to the beach. So at least Centara should work on the quality and facility improvements for the price they are charging. |

| My family & the family we travelled with had a glorious time! The kids loved the kids club & The Thai people are absolutely beautiful! | Such a great hotel and excellent service; especially thanks Ms Saijai (the Assistant front desk Manager). When I had arrived to the airport, I found that I had left my computer in the hotel lobby, I phoned to hotel, Ms Saijai immediately arranged somebody to send it back to me; only half an hour, I got my computer and I can on-broad on time.

The resort has got three very nice swimingpools but all of them were too deep for our children 3 and 4 years old. Few sunbeds! The rooms have nice design and were clean. | We had a great stay at Centara Kata Resort. The hotel was very nice and the staff as well! The hotel, with it´s three pool areas, is perfect for families with children but also for couples and other travellers who want´s to have a relaxed vacation. My oldest child, 8 years, enjoyed the big pool a lot but didn´t bother about the Kid´s Club at all. By the pool you could always find shadow somewere wich was perfect for our 8 month´s baby. We also liked the pool bar a lot, felt quite luxury to sit there and drink a frozen strawberry daquiry! They also made the same drink without alcohol to our daughter! The first day we walked to the beach (about 500 meters), but it was quite hot for the children so for the rest of the week we went by tok tok taxi (only 100THB). We thought that the southern part of the beach was better for small children and there they also had a lot of great, cheap restaurants! We loved Thailand and also Centara Hotel so we defenetly will return in the future!! |

| It was a good standard hotel with excellent staff. We had a small problem with our room wich they solved very smoothly. The breakfast was also good and had a lot of choices. The hotel is located very quite at the beginning of Kata. For a family with kids we can defintly recommend this hotel and if You are scandinavian there is a lot of opportunities to meet fellow scandinavians. |

| Nice Hotel with everything you want. Nice and helpfull staff, always with a smile on their face. Breakfast was perfect. The only thing that we didn´t like was the price on the internet. It should not be lower than halfprice when you take a walk 100 meter from the hotel. But as I said, a very nice and clean hotel. |
