| The staff in this hotel have provided services in good quality, and the seaview is very beautiful.
However, as the hotel was refurbished recently, the smell in the room is a little strong. Beisdes, as located in the hill with lots of trees and weeds, the hotel has mosquitoes and wall geckoes around. |

| Hotel was great and near karon beach, frequent mini bus service was good and staffs(drivers) are well-trained. They know which room no. even if you didn t tell them. But free birthday cake delivery caused many misunderstandings. Anyway, you must have many surprises if you live in Centara Villas. Finally, if provied Late -check out to us, it would be more friendly. |

| Basically the hotel is not bad, but there are some minor things which make the stay there not as good as it could be.
1. The hotel is actually located neither in Karon nor in Patong (closer to Karon though), and it takes time and money to get to both cities. Such location could prove beneficial for people who want to travel to both towns, but for most there is no need to go to Karon if they can go to Patong.
2. Karon beach is too dirty and water is too muddy there. So, if you want to have swimming facilities near the hotel, you should better stay near Patong beach.
3. The villas are situated the way that all people passing by (e.g. on their way to the swimming pool) can look into your windows. Thus, to get some privacy, you must close all the window curtains.
4. The swimming pool is well placed but swimming from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. is prohibited due to sanitization. For most people 7 p.m. is actually the time when they get back from their day tours and would like to relax. Thus the sanitization time choice (as well as its duration) is completely incomprehensible to me.
5. You do not feel sincere hospitality in the hotel. Despite of the usual Thai politeness, it feels like you are one of the many and they don’t care. The attitude to the guests could be better.
I would actually exclude the hotel from the “Recommended” category. |

| By far the BEST hotel service i ve ever received compared to all the other countries i ve traveled.
We were greeted with complimentary drinks and the staff were so patient and friendly throughout our 4 days stay. The food is great, the facilities are great, the prices for spa is extremely reasonable because they give first class treatment irregardless of the rooms you pick. The beach is clean too and of walking distance so we really didn t have to leave the hotel!
I will highly recommend centara villa to honeymooning couples! ;) |

| Its quite a peaceful place. One thing that really captivated me and my friends is how they remembered their guests. And they never failed to wear a sincere smile on their faces. The only disadvantage is to have mosquitoes and lizards, which can t be blamed due to the environment we re in. And there s too many stairs. But it s quite a good exercise. Furthermore, they provide a buggy car to take you around the hotel compound so that s considered quite efficient and nothing to complain about. And another thing, it can be said to be quite safe. One of my friend left a camera on the stairs railing beside the road, and she only realized it after quite some time. And when she went back to the place, it was still there, untouched. I mean, its not even hidden. It was lying there in the open. During that time, the buggy car might have passed that route several times. And yet, the camera was still there when my friend came to look for it. Overall, this is the best place I ve visited, compared to other places that I ve been. Their services were superb. Starting from the time we arrived, throughout our stay there for 7 days and 6 nights, until the day we checked out, we were never disappointed with their services and their greetings and their smiles. We really enjoyed our stay there, and it was quite hard for us to actually leave the place. |

| Pros: Room was nice
Cons: Requested twin beds over a month before and didn t get them. Was told that it s only a request . Ants in the bed and a Huge cockroach in the bathroom. Customer service at hotel needs to be approved. Also it s on Karon Beach which is not very nice..too industrial. |

| One of the best places my fiancee and I have ever stayed!
1) fantastic villas with amazing views over Karon beach and sea
2) Excellent location just 8-9 minutes away from Patong and a few mins from Karon beach
3) Again, location fantastic as you are not in the busy Patong streets where you are hassled by hawkers every 2 minutes and it is really nice to get away from the busy streets to a quiet, relaxing villa in the trees!
4)I would recommend the spa villa as it was really nice to chill in your own spa after a hectic day shooping! haha!
5) We only ate at the Cliff restaurant but the food here was absolutely delicious!! We only had the thai food as makes sense being in thailand and eating their food but it was definately some of the tastiest and well prepared foods around! Would recommend the Thai green chicken curry and Pad Thai!
6) Staff are friendly and couldnt do more for you
7) Not a great place for people who dont like hills or steps tho as the villas are set within the hill so you need to do a lot of clmbing up and down steps, which was fine for us but maybe not favourable if you have bad legs!
8) Would recommend tourists go and see Chokun tours in Karon - 3 mins further on from the main roundabout on Karon beach as the thai guy there was fantastic in sorting out our trips and making sure they suited us. For example I liked the look of an elephant safari but he advised it took nearly 4 hours to get to the tour so would waste more time in the bus then on the actual tour! He could of just booked it to make the money!!
In summary, I would def come back to Centara Villa if i come to phuket and would def recommend this place to anyone wanting a cool, relaxing holiday but not too far from the action! |

| this is a great hotel, up on the hill, very beautiful, at night you can fall asleep together with nature. But when we were there the house in front of our room were under renevation, it was quite noisy in the morning, every morning 9:00am sharp, they wakes me up by the noisy of impact drill. I hope it gets better next time. |

| The hotel was a dream such as the rest of the areas including the restaurants and the SPA. All the staff was great during our stay specially on our fathers 60 birthday. We fully enjoyed our stay and of course we will be back! But if you dont like ants and moscitos- this is not the place for you.. |

| Hillside location close to Patong, steep steps but worth the great views. Inhouse tuk tuk for those not wanting to climb the stairs to the Lobby, a friendly and prompt service only a phone call away. Enjoyed afternoon cocktails and many hours in the pool. Walk down to the beach is worth the effort. Would definately return. |

| This was the second visit to Central Karon Village and certainly won t be the last. The setting is quite unique and unusual with each room being an individual villa amonst the trees. As a return visitor the welcome back was amazing. Above all the staff are particularly friendly and courteous always willing to do anything for you. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of foods to suit all tastes. Sitting under the stars in the evening at the Cliff Restaurant is delightful as is the choice of food. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. |

| Hotel was o k. Very hilly, lots of steps to climb to get to breakfast. It was very hot eating breakfast as there was no sea breeze that high up. The rooms were nice, very peaceful resort as the bungalows were scattered around. The bungalows were cleaned every day. The pool was nice. The service was very good. Good value for money, however a bit far away from all the activities. |

| Very nice hotel with realaxing surroundings, if you are one to love the outdoors, then this is the place to book. Check in was refreshing as they offer you cold towels and coconut juice! Rooms are good (better than most others), however if you are generally not comfortable with insects, etc. then beware as the bathroom has a section with just net behind the wood panels and somehow two HUGE cockroaches creeped in on two separate days and freaked me out! Luckily my husband took care of it otherwise I was definetley going someplace else. Breakfast was good with all varieties available. The only thing not appealing was that around and on the honey and jam jars and the juice dispensers were so many bees that you could loose your appetite! There is no beach and even though the hotel says that you can walk to it, and they give you a map as well, its not easy to find. Anyway we did see it when we were driving up to the hotel once and it didn t look attractive so we didn t persue it. The location of the hotel is 10 mins from Patong beach were all the restaurants and shopping is at. We felt that it might have been better to stay closer to the beach for conveince sake but then most of the hotels there were not of good standard. So we rented a bike for our stay and commuted everyday to the beach. Overall a good stay with friendly staff. |

| Rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and the food is good, although a little expensive.
This hotel would not be ideal for everyone though. It is situated on the hill between Patong and Karon beaches so is not really walking distance to either, and will involve a taxi ride. The hotel does have many steps so would definately not suit the elderly or infirm. The two swimming pools are fine but there is no land to speak of, just the bungalows staggered down the hillside. For peace and quiet though it would be ideal as the bungalows are not overlooked. It rained the two days we were there so we cut the Phuket trip short and headed back to Bangkok ( where it continued to rain ) I have not visited Phuket since 1994 and would not go back again. Koh Samui is also developing fast but in my opinion is a far superior island. |

| Our first stop, so we went with a little more expensive resort, and we LOVED IT. Superb bungalows, great surroundings with trees and flowers etc. Great customer services with pick ups etc. Excellent breakfast buffe. Will go back for sure some day. Never mind the hill everyone is talking about, they have golfcars to pick you up around the clock and their own taxi service with brand new cars, also SUPERB! Well done to the owner of this resort. :) |

| We stayed at Centara in a pool villa for 16 nights.
The pool villa was at the bottom of the resort and had a large sundeck and great seaview.
There were no sunbeds on the deck, but we bought airbeds to sunbathe on. In the afternoon, when the temperature got too high, the sunbeds were great to cool down in the pool while still getting a tan.
The resort is set on a hill in peaceful tropical surroundings. To get to the lobby/restaurant, you had to walk some stairs through the jungle-like resort. In the evening, the walk down to the villa was very romantic.
If you want however, the resort has a mini-car to drive you from/to your villa.
With the pool villa came daily cocktails and canapes, a very nice service.
Cleaning was very good, and our room maid was very friendly.
Breakfast was great, with a great choice of foods and lovely view at Karon beach.
We went to Patong every night, using the free shuttle service at 17.30.
A taxi back to Centara Villas never cost us more than BHT 200, although the taxi-drivers start with BHT 300.
We would definitely go back to Centara Villas if we go to Thailand again. |
