| Big disappointment! We really wanted to spend our last night in Patong at a nice place. When we got to our deluxe seaview room, it was nothing like advertised. The room was stuffy, not cleaned properly, soap & shampoo were used or almost empty. No chairs/balcony. Room was right above grey roof, windows could only open slightly and no view . Needless to say, we got alternative accommodation for our last night in Patong. |

| Nilly s Marina Inn does not live up to their promotional pictures online. The hotel is in a good location but that is about all that it has going for it. When we arrived we were given a dingy, small room with no windows. When we told the front desk person that it was unacceptable they did upgrade us to a better room. The next room looked out onto the beach and was much bigger, however the bed was very hard and the sheets had obviously not been changed as they had fresh stains on them. The staff were prompt to change them upon request.
Overall the location is good. It is a fair enough walk to the action but far enough away to be quiet. |

| Surprised that this hotel doesn t have its own coffee house or swimming pool. We dont really feel comfortable when we need to share with other hotel facilities. |

| We were able to check in early which was a plus. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit old and tired and needs revamping for the price you pay in high season. Beds were so hard we found it difficult to sleep on and ended up sleeping on top of the doona to give it some cushioning. Prices in high season are ridiculously expensive and even more so since the AUD$ has dropped. Loved the view from our top room balcony and many an amusing sight to see. Very close to main street area with all restaurants, markets etc, but far enough away for quietness at night if you don t like to stay awake all night. Shower was awful - too cramped and water went everywhere. Toilets stunk, but I think that might be a problem of Thailand as we stayed in 2 other hotels and had the same problem. Overall would recommend this hotel only if staying in low season and positioning is important, but if quality of room is important, then stay away. |

| The furnishing and funniture are rather old. The rooms were not cleaned, especially the toilet. I d requested for extra beds but were not in the rooms upon my arrival. Staff can t really speak English. Some communication problem encountered during my stay. Requested for towels and were told insufficient. Will not come back to this resort again. |

| We stayed in the Superior room for the first 4 nights, and yes, whilst what is said by the other traveller about it having no window, this wasn t a problem (well, except when it came to waking up in the morning!) - the room was very nicely styled and had everything we needed.
For the last night, we decided to treat ourselves and switched to a Deluxe room, which was, quite simply, amazing. The size was incredible, both the room and the bed were huge. It also had a balcony so you could sit and look at the sea. If you have the extra money, definately worth the upgrade.
As for the hotel itself, the staff were fantastic, very friendly and always helpful. The rooms were made-up each day - even if we finally dragged ourselves out of bed at around 2pm :)
Locationwise - very good. Not in the center of the beachfront (but then I think that would be a bad thing, too many loud tourists :p) - but only a 2 minute walk away. You ve also got a 7/11 next door (though room service was so cheap you might not ever need it) so can pick up any snacks you might need 24/7.
Would I recommend it, absoultely - one of the best places I have ever stayed :)
Oh, word of advice - none of the taxi drivers seemed to know our hotel, so getting back was sometimes a mission - it seems the nearest known place is Absolute Apartments or failing that, Holiday Inn . |

| Hotel located near boat pier - is good for fishing or go to freedom beach. I stay in Superior Room... the smallest room I ever see in my life and almost NO WINDOW !!! Humidity is very high (think due to small room). Only very good and pleasant staff turn me to stay :) . Any way I think what price THB 2650 is unreasonable for Superior Room - better to book room for rent at patong for 800-1200 THB per night. |

| We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were all very courteous and always smiling. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. I would recommend this little hotel to those who wishes to stay not too far from the shopping area yet enjoy the rare serenity of Patong. The only feedback which I hope will be improved is the breakfast set menu. It could do with a little bit more variety. |
