| I did not like this hotel because it very dirty hotel.My room cleaned badly.The personnel was is not friendly and deceived me and extorted many.I did not like New Year because was very boring. Often for breakfast i had a spoiled meals.The children s room was is paid(it is expensive) and dirty . Swimming-pools is very dirty too. I do not advise this hotel for you.It is worst hotel |

| Отель для семей с детьми. Довольно маленькая территория. У нас был номер с двумя комнатами, одна из которых стиллизована под подводную лодку(для детей), вторая обычная. В комнате несколько аквариумов с живыми рыбками, что очень интересно детям, но постоянный шум и специфический запах довольно быстро надоедают. В комнате цементнй пол, покрашенный синей краской, как и стены и потолок. Поэтому в номере очень сумрачно, а в санузле так просто темно.Море через дорогу, недалеко, но движение оживленное, много транспорта и шумно. На пляже чистенько. Лежаки платные (100 бат). Местные таксисты испытывают затруднения в поиске этого отеля. Завтраки обычные. Останавливались на 2 ночи, детям отель понравился из-за горки в бассейне и игравой приставки в номере. Но я бы не рекомендовал этот отель для длительного пребывания. |

| The Talay Karon Beach hotel is a excellent hotel to stay. The staff were very friendly and assissted in all manners. This Hotel can be recommended to any family at any time, especially if you have small children. The beach is walking distance and not as busy as Phatong. The breakfast was also very good and we also enjoyed some lunch and supper.If you are looking for a more calm and relaxed holiday then this is definetly the place to be. |

| The hotel seems to had better times. I guess it was a very nice hotel but thing are getting old and not good fixed.
Breakfast is very small and served unprofessional.
Ordering lunch from restaurant can t be recommended because very few and doesn t taste well.
Staff is friendly but not trained well maybe all new.
The area Karon is great and offers a lot. |

| För priset så var det ett mycket bra hotell. Nära till stranden och annat som man vill ha.
Reser man med barn så finns barnklubb man kan köpa till.
Nackdel kan vara den väl traffikerade vägen man måste gå över. (Fast det gäller ju alla hotell i Karon)

| Overall, great resort for families with children of all ages. We stayed 2 weeks in a standard & adventure room (under-water theme). Both our children are little- 1yr and 2yr. Kids club and kids pool is great and suitable for all ages up to mid-teens. We chose not to utilize the child-care in the kids club a we felt the staff were inexperienced, sometimes disinterested, had poor english skills and it was expensive. Luckily the resort let kids play in the kids club under supervision of their parents at no charge The breakfast buffet is ok, but after 2wk of the same thing (not changing), a bit boring. As we were there during off-season, the Grill by the pool was also closed which was disappointing (with 2 babies we often ate at the resort- not much variety). I had read reviews of Ramada prior to booking about it needing renovation and dirty/poorly maintained bathrooms- we would agree with this. BUT- as I said, we did have a great holiday KIDS HAPPY - EVERYBODY HAPPY! ...unfortunately means adult luxuries might need to be compromised!. |

| I was very disappointed with the hotel. it was very run down. The room was an ok size but the bathroom was very, very small. Only had a curtain to separate the shower cubicle from the toilet so when you showed, the whole floor (which isn t that big) got wet! Just outside our room was this foul smell which entered the room which wasn t nice to smell first thing in the morning. The breakfast was awful too. The kidz club which is right by the kid s pool on 2nd floor was OK... but charged an arm and leg to babysit for even 4 hours and it wasn t aircon either. I traveled with 3 kids and they loved the swimming pool and the slide and our room was just by the pool so it was very convenient nipping in and out of the room. They also charge you for EVERYTHING, at one stage, wanted to charge me for complimentary water! A short ride away to Karon Centre they also charged and should have been complimentary. Despite the above, we made our stay enjoyable but will not be returning to the Ramada again. I wouldn t recommend this hotel to anyone. The pictures you see online are not the same in real life either! Reception staff though was friendly. |

| It was a good memory. My kids love the castle room. They splended a lot of time at this room. The beach had to take a little bit walk. It was very fun to play with the wave at the beach and slider at the swimming pool. Breakfast was nice.
All the staff were helpful and nice. |

| We stayed here with two small kids. We loved it. Facilities are good and the staff is trying hard to make it a good stay. There is a kids club with a lot of activities and toys, fully supervised. There are two large swimming pools. One is for relaxing and one for the kids. 5 minutes walking to the beach and Karon centre. A very good restaurant (American style) and entertainment every night. The prices seem high but the portions are large. This is a good 4 star hotel in European standard. Only thing to note is that the local taxi company that waits outside the hotel overcharges you. If you rent another taxi they try to scare you out of the car. Don’t use them! If you have small kids this is the place for you in Karon. |

| The hotel has excellent facilities, but is looking a bit tired. The reception/public areas are spotless and modern, however, the rooms are not to the same standard. We stayed in a castle themed room, for the kids, and the size was fantastic, with the upstairs for the kids, and downstairs for the grownups. There is a PS2 for the kids, but in the 2 weeks we stayed there, only 1 game worked. All the DVD s we got were hopelessly scratched, and refused to load (we had/swapped at reception etc around 10 in all). The advertised TV is very limited for English speaking guests, as it is limited to 5 or 6 channels, and these are not for kids in any way. The 2 pools are very good, and the hotel facilities in general are also good.
The location is at the very end of Karon Beach, there are restaurants within walking distance and the market is not too far. Its 4km to the other end of Karon Beach/Kata beach where there is a larger selection of restaurants/bars etc. Its a long walk with children, and a Tuk Tuk there is around 200 baht each way. It soon adds up. We hired a car for a week, and at 1200 Baht per day, is well worth it. It is easy to drive to the mainland for the boats out to Pang Nga Bay. The hotel staff are very helpful and courteous, and go out of their way to help.
I would recommend this hotel, but be aware of the location |

| A great place to stay especially with children. Clean, tidy, good service and the staff were fantastic with our daughter. Should of stayed the extra week at this resort instead of patong.

| Perfect hotel for families with younger children. The kidsclub was great, had lots of activities each day. 1/2 day program with 1 meal was 450B and the full day was 750B. Kids enjoyed staying at their Adventure (Underwater) room. Breakfast was plentiful, staff were helpful and friendly. The only complaint I have is that the information booklet in the rooms should be more comprehensive, this can avoid having to call staff for explaination for minor things. Easy 5 min walk to foreshore and to Karon Circle. I woud prefer to stay close to Kata Beach next time because the beach were better for swimming esp for children and during this time of the year. |

| Wonderful hotel, excellent facilities and friendly staff. If you are looking for a child friendly hotel then this is it. A wonderful kids club, fully supervised providing a variety of activities, from cooking to swimming to batik painting for a nominal fee which includes a meal. Lovely swimming pools, one for relaxing the other with water slide, fountains and dinosaurs, at 1.2meters it is a bit deep but there is a lifeguard and life jackets are available. All hotel staff where friendly and provided excellent service and will recommend excursions and book any you require. My children are 2, 4 and 6 and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The location is within walking distance of the beach, about five minutes walk and about the same to the busier part of Karon, 5 to 10 minutes walk or 50 to 100 baht in a tuk tuk. This hotel was beyond our expectations and i would rate this hotel at least a 4 star in eurpoean and american standards.

| Great for kids. We booked for two families - 2 Deluxe suites with adjoining theme rooms for the kids. Our Children loved their room which was an Underwater themed suite - I found the noise from the fish tanks irritating and would advise booking the Space suites as it is quiet and the lights are brilliant at night.
The kids club is well run and with good activities, however there are no gates to seperate it from the pool area so my son wandered out at his leisure on the day he was booked in. It is free for kids if there is an adult to supervise them.
There is unlimited popcorn, slurpies and snow freeze for the kids all day which impressed our lot!
Was a bit disappointed the beach was such a trek but the kids had a wonderful holiday anyway, as did we laying by the pool drinking Margaritas.
Staff were excellent. Joe Cools was good and breakfast selection plentiful. |

| My wife and I stood in the Ramada Karon Beach Resort for 5 nights. The Hotel nice, ideal for families with children. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was rich.
Location on the north part of the Karon beach is not the best place to stay. You have to pass the main road to get to the beach. |
